Found the trailer for this game on Reddit.

It looks really awesome, however not sure if it is ever coming to the western market.

 
Just finished watching it clearly Korean all the things are so over the top haha but yeah not coming to us that is for sure since its a mmo?

Presuming the game lacks substance because it's Korean is a stretch.. It's only the second major title put out by the company, Smilegate. The first one was "Crossfire" and though I've never played it's been, apparently, a huge success. I can't find much info on the developer 'Tripod Studios' specifically, but this seems to have had quite a bit invested in it. With a pretty good sized team working on it. It'll be 3-4 years in development by the time the beta is released next year.

Well there is ArcheAge, which is a really good Korean MMO even by Western standards. Other than that, I can't think of any. Korean MMOs are pretty much synonymous with repetition and grind.

Played it. ArcheAge is equally shallow just with a couple more gimmicks, the kind you'd expect from a mobile click-and-wait game :p
 
I guess it depends what kind of player you are. The PvE side is very lame and shallow, but the PvP side is much better than most MMOs I've played. Raiding people while they're building, being a pirate and just messing around with builds is a lot of fun. There's nothing quite like killing a level 50 at level 40 just because your build is superior.

If that's not really your thing, then ArcheAge doesn't have much to offer. The PvE is woefully lacking.
