I know your pain. That's why we abandoned using their volume license software. We kept licenses that we got with purchased notebooks and converted everything else to Linux. Then we stopped using MS Office and started using WPS instead.

Yeah, unfortunately there is not many people in the company that know it well enough.

Ja, that was a major concern. We still run Windows on the majority of the machines (with licenses that came with the machines) and we are really small, so we can get away with it.
 
Bwahahaha naw its only shyte when its storming and pouring with rain. This is rather pleasant - I do think its better in the Northern Subs :P Not so windy here yet.

What area are you in?
 
Beo, I would strongly suggest setting up a KMS server if you are on a VLK from a Microsoft EA. Obviously there are many different ways to deal with MS's Volume licencing, but being part of a global enterprise organisation I can tell you now that by doing things right from the start and deploying a KMS server you will save yourself a lot of the headaches along the line. It also helps with your auditing of key utilization and true-ups.
