Is the "We" in that note the Mobius PvE group you mentioned earlier? If so, what was the group play like? How does the group encourage co-op style play? Basically, what do the players do when they're in the group instance?

Nah, the "We" is just me and a friend, and anyone else from MyGaming who would like to join us.
 
Just lost my first ship because of stupid miscalculation. Upgraded some weapons including a shiny new missile launcher. First pirate encounter i deploy the hardpoints and the ship just dies. Shields down, engines cut out and on emergency life support. The pirates got my hull down to 11% before i could get moving again. unfortunaly the shields did not recharge quickly enough and i couldnt jump to supercruise with the 18X slowdown. :/

Lesson learned. Next time check hardpoint power requirements.

This may sound like a stupid question; I'm playing between gamepad and keyboard, is it better to have left/right yaw or thrust?
(running out of gamepad combinations)

We are on vent while playing yea.

I use the joystick for most of the buttons and then the keyboard for the rest.

You mean lost because of system error (or bug), or lost due to pirates/fighting?




I'm just sticking with trading and stuff for now, to try and get more familiar with stuff and things, quite cool though. Can actually make a pretty penny ^_^

Lost due to fighting. Aparently any kills recorded by your ship computer is stored on a usb drive or something and is lost when your ship explodes.
 
Man, actually quite enjoying this.

Looking forward to getting a better ship and then fitting with decent weapons. Will probably only do that once I have a joystick, though gamepad does work well, I have a feeling things will heat up in combat and will need extra maneuverability.

*Edit: Is there a way to bookmark/save a location ?
(like if I wanted to continuously come back, or do I just have to remember it)
