Yeah... though my morbid curiosity wanted to see what was going to happen... so I watched it. :wtf:

I didn't post it due to the gore or anything, more for the stupidly funny accent. South Africans sound so retarded (and stupid) in movies, or is it just me?

AGREED its like suddenly since they are in a movie they have to add a accent.

The movie has been out already for quite some time. The effects are really good, but the movie and story are kind of meh. The director is also Neil Blomkamp (guy who directed District 9), so the style of the movie is in the same vein.
See below his latest movie, Chappie, for some extra cringe

Sometimes I think they intentionally make them speak like that, giving other countries the impression that that is how we all speak; saying "Eh" every 2 f*cking seconds.

It makes us as South Africans look so stupid and sheds such a bad light for the reset of us. Sorry for missing the trailer or movie, I don't get much time to watch movies and I don't have TV (or at least refuse to watch eTV and SABC).

Better give this a skip, then: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0497116/?ref_=nv_sr_1

At least this is on purpose since he plays a Saffa mercenary (Kruger) in that movie. He did an accent in A-Team as well. And he does the voice of the robot in Chappie.
Why Blomkamp decided to drag "Die Antwoord" into that one, only he will know.

I don't belive in global warming.

I have no idea what you just said. Never saw (the new) A-Team, dunno what a Chappie is and never seen District 9. Who Blomkamp is I couldn't care. And Die Antwoord are dumb asses.

Chappie is the new movie by Blomkamp. Blazzok posted the trailer.
District 9 is very good.

There are some epic fight scenes near the end of the movie.

I'm not sure another Blomkamp movie can compare to District 9. A brilliant movie (shot locally) and impressing audiences abroad enough to warrant a second viewing of the movie in the cinema.

His latest installment (I fear) may not live up to the hype.

Total agreement: I am in it.
