I also keep refreshing Tapatalk to see a new interesting thread, but no luck. Gonna party at Blue Peter hotel on the upper deck tonight like its 1954!

Same. And cool, I was thinking of having a braai with my son, but the weather does not permit it. Pouring with rain.
 
I'm going to braai at some friends and I'll probably be home before midnight to make sure the dogs and cat doesn't go bossies.

I would probably be doing something but I have work tomorrow. And a braai on the stoep doesn't sound bad? Unless it isn't happening due to the 2 y/o?

No, becos of the torrential rain.

Plus being a single parent kinda makes it difficult to do anything. No one wants to baby sit cos they have plans, and no one wants to drive to me cos they wanna drink. And if I go there I get blamed for being anti-social cos I don't drink and leave early (mostly out of boredom).


*I also kinda stopped drinking when I stopped smoking.

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I love spending time with my son. But sometimes sitting at home alone and drinking on your eis kinda makes you realize what a looser you actually are :p (then you get depressed)
 
Just be careful braaiing on the stoep. This one mine I visited had a bunch of mad okes they were determined to braai every day for the whole year so when it started raining they dragged the webber underneath the lapa and set the lapa roof on fire. :p
