Demon's Souls PS3

Well, for Demon's Souls you need the Asian version since the glitch has been patched out on both the US and EU versions. It is then a pretty time consuming process that involves using 2 different characters to continually commit suicide and collect each other's bloodstains. It took me about an hour to get enough souls to go to SL712 (all stats at 99).

Dark Souls II I just used a trainer for infinite souls as soon as I got to Majula. :p

This is another topic with Demon's Souls. I don't believe there have been many (if any) patches to the game since it's release. If I remember correctly, I think I've only ever noticed one patch/update and that was when I loaded the disk in my PS3 for the first time. And it was a minuscule update at that.

Could the game be that well built/balanced?!

IIRC the Asian version starts at 1.00 and then with patch 1.03 the soul glitch was removed. There has been one other patch that takes the game to version 1.04. I'm pretty sure the US and EU versions start at 1.03 already so that is why you can't use the soul glitch on them.

Yeah, apart from the frame drops here and there, I'd say the game is pretty well built/balanced, at least in the sense of PvE. Can't really comment on PvP balancing as I tend to avoid PvP like the plague :p.

Took down the Fool's Idol and Leechmonger, both fairly easy bosses if you know how to beat them. Also got the Fluted Armour and upgraded my weapons a bit. All in all, a good day's work.

I also started it up for about an hour on Saturday morning.
I'm still in the Boletarian Palace, about 20min in I always find a way to die.

i can now without to much trouble kill the bluish enemy on top of the wall once you get to the area with catapults but if i turn right the redish guy kills me easily.

From there i almost always dies when going down the dark tower that is passed the blue guy, i think i need some more practice, but its loads of fun.

Awesome . Yeah, you should avoid the Red Eyed Knight for now, he is too tough for your character at the moment.

Quick tip: Go straight past the Blue Eyed Knight and carefully make your way down that tower (watch out for enemies with the fire near exploring barrels). At the bottom of that tower you will find the Cling Ring (which gives you 75% of your max health in hollow form) as well as a lever that opens the gate to create a shortcut to the start of the area.

nice, Thanks Wlad, that will save me alot of time if i don't need to do that whole 1st part until there every time.

No worries man. You'll still have to make your way up through that tower back to the Blue Eyed Knight everytime, but at least it's still shorter than the other way.

If you enjoy this kinda thing.

PeevePeeverson is truly boss in these Souls games. Tsar; you need to watch this, along with FarligOpptreden

Had quick watch (with sound off) and it seems like the PvP element? If it is, it actually looks like it could be fun. This is starting to become more interesting by the day... Next Steam sale can't come soon enough! :D
