I went to a themed wedding at the end of 2013 and it was awesome. The couple had a Alice in Wonderland theme, and even though people didn't really dress up for the theme, it was really nice going to a wedding that didn't look and feel like every other wedding.

My sister on the other hand is getting married later this year, and so far it seems a bit too normal and cliche'd. But to each their own I guess.

ek het niks teen themed weddings nie, myne gaan net nie themed wees nie. my colour scheme is comic book in plaas van net een of twee kleure etc.

At Wyvz, nee jy sien ek weet niemand sal a shirt wil he nie. ek self is ook nie so mal oor die "im a bride to be shirts" of "soon to be Mrs ____".

as ek die nodige fondse gehad het sou ek iemand gekry het om as een of ander super hero aan te trek om die bridesmaid gifts by hulle werk vir hulle te gaan aflewer en dan seker te maak iemand neem fotos...

If the guests can't comply, 1) they don't get invited or 2) they get turned away if they arrive with out proper attire.

i actually couldnt give two toots what the guest wear to my wedding as long as its not their cozies.... :D it is going to be a beach wedding after all so they can be quite casual-ish

Nee met tshirts bedoel ek koop n spul wittes en verf sommer self superhero logo's op dit? dan is hulle jou sidekicks nie bridesmaids nie

Die hele gifting vir bridesmaids is nog altyd vir my laf. Jip vir jou matron of honor kan jy iets klein gee, maar ek verstaan nie die punt van die gifts nie

mmmm sidekick of honor en sidekicks....let me go research ideas...lol hulle gaan my haat hahahaha, miskien nie my suster nie maar die ander 2 wel.
