Some new info revealed:

-The game is set in two big locations. One is Russia, the other is unknown.
-Lara is looking for the Lost city of Kitzeh
-Lara will be able to swim underwater
-Lara can collect plants, herbs, minerals, clothes and others to salvage items and ammo.
-Lara can hide in to bushes and climb trees.
-Nature and wildlife are main elements. Weather and day night cycle.
-Improved and expanded upgrades.
-Lara can set traps
-There will be rare animals (example, Alpha wolf) located only at certain areas and specific moments of day. They will be necessary for great upgrades.

So exciting yet so depressing still no mention of release on other platforms other than "we haven't ruled it out"...

I can't find myself having any interest in this game seeing as how only Xbox owners are going to get to play it...

I'm a longtime fan of the franchise so it's really hard for me not to be excited, despite my distaste for the exclusivity deal. It'll be the first TR game I won't be able to play on release *cries*

Well then I hope you win the Xbox competition MyG is running.

As for the game, I really enjoyed the rebooted Tomb Raider. I liked the direction they are taking the franchise, and these new info bits are pointing to another cracker of a game. Can't wait for it!!

FFS, sounds awesome, loved the last one. Not going to bother getting it for the 360 and I don't have a xbone.

Edit. Its a timed exclusive, so I take that back, I'm really excited. I don't mind waiting for the PC release, not really a big deal.

Not even sure if I can wait that long for this game to become available for the PC/PS4
Will probably get the eggsbox just to play this, only because i love playing with this female character

I'm considering it too but I really don't want to. This is literally the ONLY game on the Xbone that interests me so I really don't want to spend 6k on 1 game... I'm hoping Microsoft announces some epic exclusives this year to justify it a bit more.

Quite looking forward to this, but I won't rush out to buy it or pre-order it. But the previous installment was brilliant, so this should be a no brainer.

Just read the NeoGaf post, sounds EPIC! I love Tomb Raider so much I would seriously buy an Xbox just for it, it all depends on how long the exclysivity deal is.

Likewise, I actually prefer that it's a timed-exclusive, this way it'll be issue free and more affordable come 2 months after PC release.

PC is one of the platforms not getting it on release, unless you meant PS4? Also I don't expect it to launch at a cheaper price come it's eventual multiplatform release either, considering the PS4 definitive edition launched a year after the original and was more expensive...

All those hunting and collecting for upgrades mechanics sound very Far Cry 3. Still, I loved the previous TR so will play this when it lands on PC or PS4 later on.

Properly excited about this. Absolutely LOVED the recent reboot so very keen to play this.
