PS4 - Game Questions

Awesome, give it a try and let me know. AFAIK if it's a massive title Like BF4 or Killzone it can be changed but I am looking to get the JPN PSN exclusive games like DRRR!! for the Vita and Ryū ga Gotoku Ishin! for PS4.

Ya, I'm very unhappy about the whole 1-to-1 visa<->PSN thing. Really don't feel like wiping my settings every time I want to swap cards. But now you make me want to find out what this DRRR!! is...

"Durarara!!, often shortened to DRRR!!, is a Japanese light novel series written by Ryohgo Narita, with illustrations by Suzuhito Yasuda, that has also been adapted into a Japanese anime series"

Sweet, thanks. That sounds familiar somehow... Maybe I saw the anime floating around somewhere. Have you seen it?

Hmm most of the online specials for PS4 require a US account, is that hard to set up ? or do you just say country of residence USA?

I really want to get both Ryū ga Gotoku Ishin! and Ryū ga Gotoku 0 for PS4, but I'll wait for the eventual (hopeful) western versions with English subs. Can't wait for Yakuza 5 later this year.

My problem with titles like this, is that when they eventually do a western adaptation and release, they tend to rehash it with english dialogue as well. That's not exactly what I want. I want the original experience with Japanese dialogue and just english subs (and english menus of course).

Yeah, at least Yakuza (which is the Western version of Ryū ga Gotoku if you didn't know) keeps everything except the menus and the text in Japanese. Only the first Yakuza game had an English voiceover (featuring a bunch of decent actors), the rest are all in Japanese thankfully. I don't generally like Japanese games (don't even watch any anime anymore), but I LOVE the Yakuza series.

I thought Beo would be on it with a special price for TLoU. If there's one game he loves more it might be a Souls game, but it's very close.

It's very good, Season is currently airing but I need to brush up on season 1 as 2 takes place soon after season 1. Problem is season came out in 2010.

TL;DR Durarara!! Is about a whole bunch of different people living in Ikebukuro whom all are interconnected via a mysterious headless woman whom drives a motorbike, in her search of hear head.

Western releases sometimes equate to US only, which sucks.

Yeah, but at least we can then import it as there is no region lock on the games.

I have luckily found copies of all 5 Yakuza games locally so far, but I don't think the Western version of Yakuza 5 is getting a physical version, which kinda sucks.
