Hitman :Agent 47

Bargain Hunter

Gotta say, I'm actually quite excited for this adaptation...For once they have the origin same as the source material (clone), instead of that bullcrap "trained from birth" one.

I am posting it here as this is my home, and if you played Hitman series on anything other than PC well I don't wanna show you this trailer anyway :D

What you guys think? Lazy cash-in or decent-looking?

I enjoyed the first one with Timothy Oliphant. This one looks alright, but the actor just doesn't seem like a good fit to me. His whole head/neck looks a bit small and it irks me that he isn't completely bald. Doubt I'll watch it in the cinema.

hey any big budget, blowalotofshitup, killalotofbadguys, and walkawaywithoutascratch movie is good for me

I think Rupert Friend is adequate as Agent 47, although I would have preferred Jason Statham as Agent 47. Guess you can't get everything you wish for.

This looks to be like a: "Michael Bay meets Hitman" kind of movie.

Isn't he supposed to be an unheard protagonist? Performing his job without being seen but getting it done.

Agent 47 speaks, but he is supposed to be very subtle, almost unseen, in and out without too much commotion.

I know he speaks, but this movie won't be accurately conveying what Hitman it's all about. It's too OTT.

See, while I agree with that in principle, it's actually open to interpretation. Remember, while the game "rewards" you for playing it stealthy, there's nothing that says the game can't be played exactly like this.

I'm just being devils advocate on this, since yea, personally to me hitman is all about the subtlety and nobody knowing someone even died, let alone he was there (if you don't play it stealthily 100% wtf are you doing wasting your time with it in the first place)...but I WANT this to be a good movie so bad!

And agreed, shave the head PROPERLY or whats the point.

So it has to be an all rounder.

Meah- that looks far too over the top for me- Fun rather than intelligent. Don't get me wrong they both have their place, but for this adaptation I would far rather see this guy using his brain to get things done than going up against stupid people, bad shots and lazy writing.
And there's something off about the actor- kinda like Tom Cruise playing Jack Reacher. He doesn't look convincingly bad-ass to me. Totally agree about the Jason Statham comment above.

For me it looks like I will have to wait for the Warcraft movie to finally see a decent Game adaptation- fingers crossed.

Is it just me or does "real-life" 47 look like he's on the verge of crying in that shot? "whistling:

He looks weird, the previous Hitman looked more fierce and intimidating, this one looks skinny and funny and his not bald, who made this?
