R300 is a great price, www.cheapcodes.co.za has it for R360.
 
I played a 1v1 qualifier tonight. What an experience. I am a solid bottom of the bronze league player. Up against a Zerg player, I expected a fast start.

Set off on Protoss with the aim to mass Voids. All going well I thought. I should have taken a second base earlier but want brave enough. I waited until I had a few Voids before I did that. Too long. My bad.

Just after I got the second base I got swamped with Mutas. The game was over a short while later when plenty Mutas and Roaches arrived.

I watched the replay and realized I was up against a high quality gold Zerg player. He had 3 bases very early and tons of resources. By the time he was ready to build Mutas, he had enough to build 16 in his first offering.

Another 2 points about his game play was his micro management and "APM". Although I had my butt kicked, it was a wonderful learning experience to go back and watch his game play.

Good point. Shows why I am a bottom of the range bronze player. :o

Will need to rethink my strategy if I am going to stick with Protoss.
 
So, a new year.. time to get started with some starcraft training. The only thing I struggle with.. what classifies as a mistake when playing SC2?
 
Most the people i know taking a long brake or playing other games I know the guys i prac with moved to LOL, WOW, HS or HOTS
 
But will see im really having fun with the peeps with LOL. With Work and all other issues Playing SC2 just takes to much out of me atm.

Plus the peeps are enjoying LOL until LOTV come out then its time to jam some SC.. Well will see how long thats lasts. One main reason i started LOL was that a few of my friends said LOL is harder than SC2. So what im doing is playing LOL getting to max level then will ladder with the team until LOTV comes out then its there turn to try SC2 and see what is harder to get a grasp of :D

WOAH this will be funny to see how much SC2 opens there eyes :D

Haha, well good luck with LoL, I can't stand looking at it. It looks like a badly put together Mobile Game ported to cheap 3D. My inner artist and game developer dies a little each time I see it.
But I doubt that you'll change their minds.. people are stubborn that way.
 
I dont mind about the way it looks. Its all about game play for me. It got some getting used to in the end but enjoying it for now.

Well with the SC2 vs LOL thing. Even if they play abit and see the difference i will be happy
