Steam gaming smashes PlayStation and Xbox - PC wins

I have a steam account,but I haven't used it in over a year. I play mainly on console.

Anyone can open a steam account or two.There's no big deal about that.
 
I wonder how many of those "active users" only have something like dota 2 or war thunder (any F2P) on their account.
 
I am just waiting for a post about how World of Warcraft has more accounts than all other MMO's combined :P
 
Steam cares a lot more for their community than either Sony or Microsoft. Steam is the only one to provide an official API. They make it easier for Indie developers to release games. They track your game time, offer achievements, allow for download scheduling, selecting download server locations etc.

Steam doesn't treat their userbase as idiots and I wish that Sony and Microsoft would do the same.

I don't know about subtracting those 2 in particular since, well, they bring in a huge chunk of cash of valve so a majority of Dota 2, and CS:GO accounts aren't just an arbitrary number for stats, so I'd say a Steam user who only plays either of those two exclusively is probably a valid active and isn't just stat-padding Steam's userbase count.

To be fair Sony has improved concerning indie developers they have really made a concerted effort to bring indies on board.

I've seen Steam get AAA titles but unless you have a suped up PC, getting those games are pointless.

I stopped getting PC games as I couldn't afford to upgrade my PC all the time, plus you basically need uncapped internet,which I don't have.

Well Game graphics generally only start increasing around the launch of new consoles. So the best thing to do is save the R7k it would cost for a new console and instead just upgrade ur machine.

Lmao,I wont spend R7k on a PC, besides I didn't buy my consoles :) or my games.
I haven't bought games in a year.
