Black and blue or white and gold?

It's amazing that our brains interpret the dress as a certain colour when it's actually black and blue. The link to Wired in that article explains the whole thing scientifically.

It is weird I watch this program Brain Games and it is amazing what our brains interpret.

That's true, but in my opinion, in this case it's just a terrible photo.
 
Here I see it white and gold, but on a phone someone showed it to me this morning, and it looked aqua blue and brown to me?
 
This photo is now going around are office, if you didn't know the context you would think someone found a picture of Mandela stripping the way phones are being passed around and people are saying "no ways/ you lie/ it's fake"

Should have added a poll to the thread :)

I saw it as White and Gold the first time, then when I looked at it again I saw it as Blue and Black. So yeah
 
this photo is causing massive drop in productivity in the office! for what its worth, i see white and gold. apparently my eyes are not working properly :(

I've been watching that as well, very interesting show.

I see it as white and gold, but the white seems to have a blue tint that I would have put down to shadow
