I don't know I don't like gilroys... the waiters at gilroys are quite cocky as well and we wont be going back there again. been there twice and both times the waiters tried to add extra beer on our tab and then also made a fuss about the tip

Hmmm bad luck on waiters there. I've found them to be a little slow, but other than that, I've always had a lekker time there, although I've only been a few times.

One thing, he doesn't like people from bachelor parties begging from other tables, and there's usually around two bachelor parties pulling through there any given saturday

ja they are slow even when its not busy....and you know if it was 1 beer mistakenly put on our tab it would have been ok but it wasnt both times they put an extra beer for each person at our table...

Well beer is THE superior drink after all.
I have to agree windhoek draught is the best, but gimme my cbc pilsner or lager and I am happiest

I prefer apple crumble and pecan pies, apple danishes especially. Otherwise Im not a fan of melktert or custard in stuff.
 
nah, when you take an apple and blackberry pie out the oven and the center is bubbling and oozing juice and the pasrty is flaky flaky flaky but crisp .......... making myself literally drool now
 
I was having difficulty finding a standalone mic to use for online gaming. Kalahari sold one (a Canyon), but they no longer advertise it. So as result, I went and bought these:

If you can (and I find it hard to), pour all the sauce onto the pie/tart/whatever and then stick it in the fridge until the next day. When you warm it up the next day in the oven and blob on that double cream, it is ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR BETTER because the apple has had a chance to wine and dine the sauce like
