Valve and HTC team up for virtual reality headset - the HTC Vive

I would love to see a booth at Rage Expo this year where one can have a 5minute go at it.

The PlayStation Move with navigation controller bundle would be a perfect combo.

The only thing that seems to be a problem still with VR is that a lot of people report that while holding one`s head
stationary it`s fine but when moving the head it turns out awkward.

Jacksepticeye changed the FOV and unlocked his framerate and he seemed much happier with the device but I also wondered whether the device would actually allow one to disable the head-tracking sensors.

Just got out of an interview with Jeff Gattis (Executive Director of Global Marketing, HTC) - the guy who made the announcement - and suggested rAge to him. He said they're considering it as part of their global events calendar thingie :D

This I can look forward to then.

I don't know if I trust HTC with making any hardware, they will probably end up doing 3 versions. One will be gimped and barely working, the other will be fully function and just slow and buggy and the last one will cost an arm and a leg, be fully functional fast with a 5min battery life.

Their current phones seem pretty good. I don't have one, but have a couple friends who do, and they seem pretty solid at a reasonable price.

I had an HTC phone before my current Nokia and it lasted for years. I was very happy with it. I can't wait for these VR systems to come out into the market!
