Best and worst games of 2015 (so far)

Based from Metacritic..

I can very much disagree on Dying Light's low rating, it's not a BAD game.

As for some of the other games, there are only a handful that sucked, for me.

Don't let these bad scores influence your buy, one man's trash is another man's treasure
 
I always find it odd doing a "best and worst of the year" feature only 3 months into the year... I'd say wait at least 6 months before doing such an article - you'll have more games to pick from. 3 months into the year, your top and bottom 5 will only be a ranking of the 10 games that have been released so far.

Instead of grabbing the average metacritic scores or rounding that as a generalization, why not ask your community?

I couldn't really care what the average Joe Public thinks about this and that, I would much rather take opinions from our local forumites and trust their judgement over the randomness that is the interwebs. Dying Light being my case and point here. To be classed as a bad game is ridiculous just because you read metacritics reviews. This game will be given mass praise in our community, and I would rather take that to the board.

I believe it will be a totally different outcome compared to metacritic.
 
5.The Order: 1886 – 65 - Really?

From what I've heard and read most people liked it. The only gripe was that it was too short.
 
Why was the Odd world trailer there but not mentioned in any of the "categories" for lack of a better word?

I am absolutely loving Dying light! I would highly recommend it and iv only just started playing it!

Whilst I completely agree... it got us all talking about our thoughts :p

Difficult for me to comment on anything new this year, as I haven't shelled out on anything yet. That said, Cities Skylines peaked my curiosity. The trailer I watched in the Cities Skylines thread looks really good too.
 
Dying light rated so LOW :confused:

That is unbelievable, Started the game yesterday and man I have not had this much fun with an FPS game since Half-life 2. I really think it is a mix of mirrors edge (so far not as buggy though with easier combat), Half life 2 kind of feel with newer graphics and zombies survival.

I am not one for survival or zombies but I am absolutely addicted. Night time is super intense!

Another game to look at which I have been enjoying is Hand of Fate, Not sure how much replayability it will have but been playing for a week and its pretty fun. Definitely worth looking into some of the reviews.
