Not that anyone cares, but a mousepad's surface can really make all the difference in the world.

Morning all.
 
Used a cloth pad for the last year and it had been through a lot, hence why the pad started becoming inconsistent (i.e smooth in some areas more than others).

The one I got yesterday is rough-textured but no uncomfortable. Tracking is great and incredibly smooth. So much so in fact, the blowing on the mouse causes it to move. The coarse texture takes a while to get used to, but when you do - wow, it's great.
