Windows farking updates!

Erm may i suggest a good policy that has been working well for us - do those only once a month (pref end of the month).
That way you miss out on all the bad updates that gets fixed during the month :)
 
Good morning everyone! I promised updates on the lightning damage problem that I am having and I have some updates so far:
Outsurance's contractor, Golden Mile Electronics collected all the damaged things on Tuesday morning. I followed up with them today to see what was going on. They are going to replace everything that they can't fix. They are going to fix the TV and my PC. The TV I can believe, it was just the speaker that wasn't working properly and I suspected that it would be reparable.

My PC is another story. It was directly struck by lightning. I am not sure how they are going to fix the mother board. I could see physical burn marks in the Ethernet port and one of the USB ports. I have no doubt that the Ethernet PHY would have been damaged. To fix this they will need to rework another PHY onto the board. This is not to mention the damage to the rest of the board, the power supply etc. I'll update this again when I get it back with a full fault report.
 
Proof that I can't multitask: my glasses were sliding off my nose and I wanted to put an earphone in my ear. I almost put my earphone against my glasses and subsequently forgetting to push my specs back up. :D

WOW! Google accounts take tracking to a whole new level. I just learn't that if you have an android device with your G account linked, it tracks everyfuckingwhere you've been. Like even years back!

I track my old pr0n sites using it. Very helpful.

Yup, however you can opt out of those if you so wanted. I don't really care since it is secured behind password and mobile verification.
If a Google Admin wants to come rob me, then I think I can live with it (as long as he does so in Google uniform) :D
