It's usually hidden in a jpg or screensaver file. That, and the fact that it's still new means that most AV's haven't picked it up yet.

My antivirus detected it a malware but it was too late, it had already attached itself to a file, or files.

I don't think they're viruses per se, more malware or backdoor exploits.

And most anti-malware programs don't run in real time, unless paid for.

It opened in firefox and auto-downloaded. I was foolish enough to click on the download.

But anyway, I did a scan, removed the virus, reported the account and re-downloaded some of the games I had had.

Shame bud that's hectic!! I have seen this a few times on both steam and Skype. U have to be extremely cautious when online.
