The Elder Scrolls Online

So I played a little this weekend, with mates on a lowbee toon. If anything was just fun running around kicking ass again.

I forgot how cool my VR12 toon looked all kitted out, I think I need to take him for a spin this long weekend.

So I have been playing a little here and there and I can see they have changed a lot.

For starters the 50+ areas are A LOT easier! I have been able to solo world bosses and all elites, but I do have some insane gear. But it is noticeable easier. I have found it difficult to get traction in the game and I really don't feel like starting a new toon. Im not sure how easy it is now to get to VR 14, but when I was grinding to VR12 it took forever and don't feel like going through that again.

I think I need to do some research on craglorn and any other new areas.

Craglorn is still a 4 party group zone. Sure you maybe able to solve the odd delve but you will not finish the area without a group.

They must be getting really desperate for players. 2 spam emails received within 24 hours and I never bought or played it after the beta.

I doubt they desperate, I think they are 1 of the more successful current MMOs and with their new model it can only get better.

This is excluding the eventual launch of the console game.

I only wish they would combine all platforms onto 1 server.

3rd email just received, this even after I un-subscribed.

lol, still don't think its a desperate act. Maybe some glitch on there side.

Think about it logically, a company of that size would know that constant spam wouldn't help. But then again im making a huge assumption.

Zero communication in months if not more than a year, and then suddenly three different emails within 24 hours. One which says that I activated something, and then proceeds to admit that they activated something on my behalf...

I have had the normal newsletter from now and then but i signed up for it and i enjoy reading them... but if you talking spam from a corp i get at least 3 mails a week from Blizzard asking me to come back or telling me they have a new pet or mount for me to buy

Yeah I also get that, but regular spam (ie Blizzard) is annoying but more understandable. Going from zero communication since before the launch of the game to three emails within 24 hours, smacks of digging deep in the barrel :)

but as i say just make 100% sure someone is not duping your mail or playing with your account :)

Game is doing fine. Servers have never been busier. I only got one email to tell me I can migrate to console if I want. Don't know why receiving emails is apparently such a big talking point, but oh well. If the emails really bother you that much mark them as spam.

The game seems to be doing really good. Finally decided on a name, weapon, and class to level from scratch and loving it. Only gripe I have is that I don't have as much time to play as I used to :p
