General gaming chit chat.

Also for those that like to follow the hearthstones... Seat Story Cup 3 is on today! Starts in about 3.5 hours "whistling:

Do you find compitive hearthstone fun to watch?

I like to watch the Finals, but its definitely more fun to play... I normally watch while im playing... If there is anything worth watching... The plays the pro guys come up with are pretty insane...

Just over an hour left.

Mildly excited about this...I miss the sense of "which way is up" in the video that the original had...thats what made it cool. These maps look too open with too many reference points.

Think I'll give it a miss and risk paying double at a later stage if it turns out well.

I'm looking for a game to test my new card with, it doesn't have to stress the card but looking for something eye candy when maxed out. Suggestions?

Any PhysX game, especially now that you have a green card. Try the Batman games or Borderlands 2 with PhysX enabled - it really adds to the immersion!

Completely forgot about the physics aspect of it. Will crank that up and maybe even get a tool to level my character so that we can jam.
Crysis 3, Witcher 2, Battlefield 4
Played Battlefield 4 last night with everything maxed. Wasn't that impressed to be honest, maybe I'm just tired of the franchise.

Forgot about Witcher 2, maybe try that out later. After load shedding is done [emoji53]

And I in no means plan on buying GTA 5 seeing as I've payed for it twice before. But I may try it for free.

To be honest, I wasn't all that impressed with Witcher 2's graphics. The animations felt really stiff and everything was too static.

Let me know when you wanna jam some BL2. I'd love to co-op the DLC (if you have it). Otherwise I can start a new character and take it from there...

Pretty good, it's mainly a demo for The Phantom Pain though.

You probably won't know what's happening if you haven't played the others in the series.

Yeah, I've heard as much, but for someone who's never played one; is this a good starting ground? Though I'm not too interested in the back story and obviously it's too late to get in touch. But more from a mechanics and game play point of view?

I've never played a MGS game in my life, but I absolutely love the gameplay in Ground Zeroes. I'll most likely get Phantom Pain because of it.

Well...discovered Origin Game Time today...so will jam it for a dozen hours or so and then decide whether to go for the special.

Gotta hand it to EA...game time is not a bad idea.

Will probably check out titanfall as well...50 hours free.

Quick question on this, does that time include the download? I'd like to try Titanfall but it's going to take about 2 or 3 days of non-stop downloading to get the game anyway.

Yep you need to play Portable Ops and Peace Walker in order to understand what's going on because the main quest involves you saving Paz and Chico that were your allies in Peace Walker. It's for PSP though but you can buy the HD collection on 360/PS3 which has more value.
MGS3 -> Portable Ops -> Peace Walker -> Ground Zeroes -> Phantom Pain
