Also MK9 and Injustice are on sale on Steam for $5 a pop this weekend. I haven't played either of those on PC yet.

In the article that MyGaming wrote, it says that there will be 24 characters at launch and an additional 5 that can be unlocked through progression along with the 5 DLC characters (Goro + the Kombat pack characters). Does this sound right to you guys? 34 characters in total? Am I missing something?

I think this is a mistake. I've checked a few reliable resources and I can't find any indication of this. It's probable that you have to unlock 5 of the 24 characters through story mode, such as Shinnok or Kotal Kahn.

Never heard of this either... So unless hes got a review copy i dunno

Im rAther excited for mkx. But will there be SA servers and if not will the international ping be playable in multiplayer? Or is this gona solely be a hotseat multiplayer game?

Most probably p2p i would assume. Dont see why there would be servers for this, just for ranked i think

Apparently its one of the things they have seriously worked on, and from the things iv heard the online play is excellent!
