Awesome! Thanks for the heads up! I might use it to get the Flashpoint stuff I am missing.

I've been reading a bunch of stuff over the last couple of days.

1) Batman: Zero Year #21-33 (Snyder, Capullo, Miki, FCO Plascienciaa) - This was a great story arc, depicting Bruce's first foray into the Batsuit. Great resolve. The art was good, but the colouring stole the show. FCO Plascienciaa is a beast!

2) Zero #1-11 - (Kot, various artists, Bellaire) - This is a great secret agent/heist-type book and it gets pretty brutal. Every issue is drawn by a different artists, while Kot writes and Bellaire colours. I'd definitely have a look at this book if you're looking for something fresh. They read easily, the art changes every week and the covers are beautiful.

3. Black Science #1-6 (Remender, Scalera, White) - This is a great throwback to early science fiction books. Fantastic art and the story is pretty wild. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes stuff like Star Trek, perhaps some Doctor Who and just generally bonkers sci-fi & weird stuff.

What have you all been reading?

Well, Convergence just started. We'll see how that goes.
I'm not too sure about this one. There might be a few stories that are good, but this event is basically implemented to give DC some time to move to LA without having to worry too much about publishing their regular books.

Now, Secret Wars on the other hand...

But seriously, there is some serious potential with Convergence. Old DCU , Flashpoint U, Pre-Crisis DCU, etc. Something cool is bound to come out of it.

Yeah, I have pretty much the same reservations but I am intrigued by the mash up of all these universes. Even Kingdom Come U might feature, so the potential is there. But the sheer scale of it scares me due to previous DC events.

I've finished reading Flashpoint, and damn, that is a great story :D. A great read even if I came in having seen the flashpoint animated movie.

Im still keeping up to date with the Mortal Kombat comics, they are actually really good, and seriously heating up with the build up to the game!

Yeah, I read that there will be butt load of universes in this. I'm not sure if they'll cross over with each other, I can't really figure it out from the previews.

Glad you enjoyed Flashpoint. How bad-ass is Flashpoint Batman? Don't mess with that guy.

Hehe I'm glad to see that you enjoy something else apart from TWD :p

Lol... I am still trying to get through Revival... Im really struggling though... But i am pushing through! Some really weird stuff happens in those books...

That's what I like about them the most. I love me a good creepy comic. Which reminds me, I still need to buy volume 3 & 4 of that.

So nothing much going on in here, hey?

There's a lot going on over at Comixology: https://www.comixology.com/comics-sale

Mark Waid's Daredevil is there, highly regarded run. I think I'll pick up some of these.

There's also Crossed on sale. Now, fair warning. I've read about three volumes of this book. It is basically created to shock you, so don't read it if you are easily upset or squeamish.

There are also a few books that has background on Convergence.

As mentioned in my previous post, here's probably one of the coolest things that I now own:

Those DK encyclopedias are the most awesome books to have on your shelf. I've got access to both the Marvel and DC one (they are probably a couple of years old though). They are great when some random character that was created in the 60's pops up, or just for brushing up on the history of one of your favourite characters. Very cool man.

On another note, I read Kingdom come the other day. Wow, what a book. The art is incredible and the story is beyond epic. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, it is great for quickly looking someone up. You get more out of the story if you know who everyone is. This edition is pretty recent, it includes Infinity and Age of Ultron (the comic, not the movie).

Dude, Kingdom Come is great. Waid and Ross nailed that book. Now I'll probably read it again.

One of my favourite reads ever. I got the extra large hard cover and it's one of my books that I'm the proudest of having.
