COD Advanced Warfare - Vodacom LTE

Hi Guys and Gals,

As you all know ADSL is not very stable. I have a Vodacom LTE Dongle for a backup connection and works like a charm.
I need it for DGL. Now my question is, I can play any game online without any problems, but when I try to play COD Advanced Warfare it simply says: "NOTICE - No network connection detected. You must have an active network connection to play online or over a local network."
Has anyone experienced this? Can anyone please help me resolve this?

K so just to double check, are u saying ADSL in general is unstable or just in ur area. Cause in general, ADSL is 100x more stable than any wireless solution purely based on the fact that its a physical wire.

Do urself a favour and try this on ur Vodacom line

1. Open cmd prompt
2. type: ping www.google.com -t -l 2

This will force the best connection on ur 3g constantly, so this could help.

Basically 3g will automatically adjust its speed based on demand and ur lag comes in when ur wireless needs to go from edge all the way up to LTE. So by keeping the constant a constant ping up, it tricks ur wireless to keep the maximum speed up.

Back in the day I use to use this trick for WoW, worked well until I tried a 25man raid. The I use to get a panty sneeze and the line would fall over lol. I also had some decent success with cell C and playing CoD: Black ops.

Also remember that ur modem relies on LOS, so try have it at a window. I use to have a 3m usb cable and would move my 3g around to various windows to see where I could get the best connection.

I know how to test network connections etc., but the only problem I need help with is with my LTE Modem. When I use my 3G Modem I can Play COD AW MP, but not with my LTE Modem using the same Sim-Card. I tried it on other PCs too. I can play Battlefield 4 and all other games including the COD AW Single player etc. using my LTE but just not the COD AW Multiplayer. When trying to connect to online services within the COD AW MP it has this error "NOTICE - No network connection detected. Maybe there is a way to run a port forward script for the LTE Modem??? I dunno...

Sorry bud, I wasn't implying ur lack of technical ability and was only making suggestions.

If the same LTE device doesn't work on different machines then what I would do is try get ahold of another LTE device and test that. If that doesn't work, then try test another sim card in the 2 LTE devices. If that still doesn't work, then I would check with ur service provider, my guess would be something is being blocked. Like I said previously apply for the unrestricted APN, that might help.
