In Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, bosses are entirely optional

This is fantastic news. The boss battles were very odd in Human Revolution. I'm glad to hear that they are returning to the old original games way of handling boss fights.

Yeah, it was really frustrating. Stealth the game, then get to the boss fight and struggle because none of the skill you chose are any help. Really good news they learnt from their mistake.

Human revolutoin was amazeballs. That and Crysis 3 are the only games I have played through 3 times in my life.
I am chomping at the bit for this one. Like a rabid horsey:wtf:

They were worse than odd. They were boring, lacked ingenuinity, frustrating if you took the wrong progress path for any particular boss and against the entire theme of the game.

I'm also hoping they fix loading times. Man that game loaded new areas slowly.

Yeah, I started a Human Revolution playthrough recently and I just did the first boss yesterday. It was downright atrocious. Something I would expect from a mindless FPS, not a Deus Ex game.

Do you guys remember how the original Deus Ex did boss fights? I remember that in one of my many playthroughs, I could beat Gunter by saying a kill switch word that I got by hacking a computer earlier in the game. It's moments like that that made it such a special game. I hope they do the same with boss fights this time around.

Obviously this is a day-one buy for me, and I cannot wait. Got my business class seat to the hype train.
