Is this game any good? I saw it for R300 on PS3 and I'm thinking about getting it. I am a huge fan of spider-man and I haven't played a decent spider-man game in ages. I've read a couple of reviews, but the game seems to get very mixed reviews ranging anywhere from 50 - 80 so I'm not to sure whether it is worth getting. If anyone has played it please tell me if it's good or not (I'm not expecting anything brilliant, I just want something fun to kill time untill I get Uncharted 2).
 
I've also heard bad things, but I've heard good things as well. I guess this is another of those love, hate games. One of my friends says it's crap, while another says it's awesome, so I'm kinda confused. :confused:
 
Well, if the gameplay is mostly like Prototype then I'm definitely gonna love it! Prototype was a lot of fun. :D I don't really mind bugs that much, as long as the majority of the gameplay is fun, I'm happy. Like I said, I'm not expecting anything brilliant.
 
I enjoyed it to some extent on the pc but the only thing that p**sed me of was it had a sound issue.

but other then that its quite nice, you can upgrade your char in many ways aswell.

I'm still considering whether or not I'll get Borderlands. But I want something to keep me busy until 16 October when I get Uncharted 2. There are other, newer games I can get now, but I don't really wanna spend R700 on a game now. I'd rather buy spider-man for R300 and use the other R400 for a pre-played game or two. I know that Batman is a far better superhero game, but I'm borrowing it from somebody now and I don't see the point in forking out R700 for something that I've almost finished, I'll just get it for the collection when it's a bit cheaper.
 
PC version lagged a hell of alot... :( and they never released any decent patches... only one and then gave up.
Seemed fun to me, but I didn't play it coz of all that laggy goodness.
 
I think I'll get it and decide for myself, R300 is not that much, even if it is a bad game. I'm pretty sure I'll like it though, I love spider-man and I loved prototype.

Luckily for me I waited with the PC one and now that I have a PS3 I'll just get it on the console - no lagging (hopefully) :D

*I just saw that BTGames has WET!! That is also one of my choices, but I don't know if it's worth R700. I think I'll get spider-man for now and then uncharted 2 and when batman and WET is a little cheaper I'll pick them up.*
