Is AC: Unity Still broken?

I really enjoyed the previous entries in the series, even if they got a little repetitive. The general consensus seemed to be that Unity was ridiculously bad, has it been fixed in the months since release? Would it be worth the pickup?

i have no idea what they were talking about because i had a blast with this game.. unless i just never ran into those "gamebreaking bugs"

iirc the preferred platform to play it on (that had the least problems) was Xbone.

Interestingly enough, I just started playing this game last night. So far despite some control issues the game is running with no bugs what so ever. It's fun and gorgeous. Playing it on Xbone though.

So, the general consensus seems to be that its only worth playing on the XBone. Which isn't really an option for me, so I suppose I'll just leave it.

Surely they must have patched it by now? I don't play AC, but its been out end of last year?

I've been playing it on my pc the last 2 weeks.

Huge patch to download but it seems to have cleared most of the bugs. Unfortunately I'm not running the settings on high since my frame rate still drops a fair bit when I reach those huge mobs of people. Still it doesn't run like a dog anymore and they seem to have done a better job fixing this than watchdogs.
