thanks dude, will defintely need your help on blood starved beast!

so wait, are you saying i can reach the gatling dude WITHOUT needing to first fight the other hunter? he starts firing as you approach a steep drop off. i am dropping down this high ledge and struggling with 2 crows to my right, gatling in front, and bloody hunter all around. Are you saying that there is an alternate path BEFORE i drop down ?

Yeah, pretty much

You basically trek through the building you're standing on, no need to drop off the broken front end. Use the side ledge to drop down to, or the stairs on the same side (between some statues iirc).

Darkbeast paarl has got a big upgrade in new game plus and those darkstalkers are swinging around sacks of cement.I also found the Beast claw in a challice dungeon.I just beat him what a rush.

New patch is out 1.03 improves load times by 5 ·15 seconds and fixes bugs and improves performance also it is 250 mb.

game is SOOO much nicer with the new load times. its not ideal, as i would have loved even quicker load times, but its noticably snappier. and the lore text at loading screens is cool.

also, i am rather pleased with myself as i discovered a secret area in Old Yarnham! and i did on my own noticed a collectible and wondered how to get to it and checked around till i figured it out

although, there is another collectible that i'm not sure how to reach. i think it needs a fiddly run and jump. advice ?

the path to see it is simple. you know the 2 ladders that you take to get to Djura? after you go up first one, instead of turning left to go to Djura, turn right and drop down to a ledge and walk across the wooden plank bridge. you then come to the open area with lots of werewolves beneath. the collectible in question is directly on opposite side of the huge room. i can walk along the beams to and drop down to the wooden platform in the middle of room, but there appears to be no clear way to get to that other platform. i think i need a running jump, but very little room for it.

Aaah... this brought to mind fond memories of parkour in Anor Londo rafters

But yes, you gonna have to do a tight run and use jump mechanic.

hehe, i had feared as much okay, will try it out tonight. i opened shortcut to Blood Starved beast but have not yet tackled them. i played around with "being summoned" to see if i could get a crack at boss in someone elses game first. alas, the dudes who summoned me were utter clowns who had not yet unlocked shortcut and who got themselves killed by falling off ledges

Yeah, beckoning (summoning) works within a 100m radius, so best to get to the boss room and try that area.

yeah i gave up on that one after the eleventyth time I fell off and died

Loving this game so much however I am stuck on one of the "optional" bosses at cainhurst castle.

When he goes into aggresive mode try and gun parry him.I used ludwigs rifle against him.
