PS4 - Game Questions

A question about Killzone: Shadowfall.

I bought the game over the past weekend. It installed but thats about it. Never made it to the first chapter. The intro was jerky to say the least. When the game starts I get LOADING . . . and it just hangs

Has anyone had this problem as well? The disc was in perfect condition. I even deleted the install and reinstalled, same thing.

strange... has you tried checking for any updates?

I did yes. There was a 3.1GB update but I didn't download it as yet. I wonder if that would alleviate the issue though. Before I waste my valuable bandwidth :D I'd like to know if anyone else has the same issue.

Should be able to pop in my disc a bit later today and see if I can play it as is without patching.

Apologies for the late reply. Lucky us were loadshed from 2pm to 6pm. Popped in my disc later and after the install mine worked. Did start to download a patch for it as well.

That means it played fine without the update. Probably a bad disc then that I got. Will return it.

Hey no problem man. Thanks a lot in anycase. Must definitely have been a bad disc or something.

I don't care what people say, it's a good game and solid gameplay. The mechanics are great and the multiplayer is superb. I enjoyed my time with it.
