Top 5 classic adventure games that deserve remakes

Leisure Suit Larry was remade, wasn't it? Or there was a kickstarter and stuff like that. Too lazy to google now. :)

I loved Day of the Tentacle though and would love to play it again.

Yes Soli they did remake Leisure Suit Larry in 2013, called Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded. Looks bad though, and it's available on both iOS and Google Play as well, so you know it's more of a mobile cash in.

I would love some Space Quest myself

That is a good list in the article. But it is not my list.
"What is your list, Mister 44?", you may ask if you had any sense.
I'll tell you:

1. Kingdom O'Magic.
Spoofing Lord of the Rings before it was cool to spoof Lord of the Rings.
2. Blade Runner.
Epic and atmospheric. Brilliant game. Like liquid sunshine*.
3. Codename: Iceman
One of my favourite Sierra games of all time. You got to drink cocktails and drive a submarine.
4. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
Two words: Nazi fistfights. This was truly ground breaking. Up to this point in gaming history you only got to shoot Nazis.
5. Loom.
I finished it and to this day I'm still not sure what it was about exactly. I think it's about misunderstood art, but I liked it.

Will they ever be remade? I can only hope.

*You won't get it. You didn't play the game ;)

Not a remake, but a polish at least.
I'm just disappointed with the voice cast...

I was just about to mention that... Been waiting for it to drop to a stupidly low price during a sale of sorts so I can buy and play it. Sins of the Fathers is still one of my all time favourite games.

Maybe I am too young, but none of these games' names are familiar to me.

I think you are too young. Those games were the pinnacle of my youth! I'd get all giddy when I got my hands on any new Sierra or LucasArts adventure game.
