NAG abandons scantily-clad mascot for this year's rAge

In other news, the future mascot will be grey dot. Mascots can't be male or female since that's sexist. Animals are a no no since that's offensive to some people, aliens are also out to avoid offending the Mars people. Gaming characters are out because of fan Boyz, thus we are left with colourless dots.

Really makes me think of the "Human being" Mascot from community
 
I realise this is the unpopular opinion, but I am glad they changed it. It's not because I am offended at the sight of a bare ass, but rather because it supports the notion that people that play games are pubescent white boys who live in their mother's basements. I'd really like that idea to start going away. I suppose this ties into the arguments for changing the poster to make it more inclusive, so indirectly I support that idea too.

It seems very likely that this was done as a publicity stunt though as the article mentions, which I think is pretty cheap.
 
and here i was hoping for a scantily clad dude mascot.... this one might have more "clothes" on but its way ore revealing than the previous mascot i think. also i like the new mascot, cause its more "game-e"
