The Best 24 Inch Monitors to buy right now

The prices of monitors have increased drastically over the past couple of months. They're downright unaffordable right now! You can get a 1080p 32" LED-backlit for that price... Possibly even bigger if you shop around.

Iv got 2 of the Dells that i stare at all day at work and i must say they are fantastic monitors...

Same refresh rate? Also, damn getting a TV license!

No, you're not gonna get 144Hz, but shopping around you might even get a smallish 120Hz (3D) TV for that price. Who needs more than 120Hz anyway? You need an insanely powerful PC to play modern, demanding games at 1080p with maxed-out details and achieve more than 60FPS consistently.

Just get a friend or family member to buy the TV on your behalf. :p

I was only joking, I do have a TV License. Forgot to take my fathers license with me when I purchased and out of laziness got one. Now I live a life of regret.

I got one when I bought my first TV. I only ever pay when I buy a new TV, so I end up paying a couple years' subs each time. :(

Don't the Sms's Drive you insane? "Mr Grievous, you haven't paid your TV Licenses blah blah blah..."

...and the odd call from a law-firm informing me that I have to pay "OR ELSE". :D

Truth be told - my licence is all paid up as my mother-in-law bought a new TV in January and we used my licence. So at least I won't get threatened for another year or so.

I bought a second monitor for home. Dell. Around R2k for it and it's superb. Would never have thought it before I bought it.

I also have 2 Dell monitors, 21.5 and a 23" super happy with them. Thinking of getting a third.

Saving up to buy a monitor, one that can accommodate both my PC and PS3. Pricing to be somewhere in the region of R2500.
Will likely only afford it by August; hoping Wootware has nice specials running on monitors at that time.

Dell really seems to be the Office choice. My last two jobs have been Dell setups. No complaints, they do the job.

those are ridiculous prices. you can purchase and import a 4k monitor for R7000 (excluding import charge which is normally 10%). way better value for money and your hititng 4k at some of those monitors at the same price. AND your getting a 39" !

Yeah and if the screen is faulty or breaks during the warranty period good luck.

you will always have the warranty. might be a bit harder getting it back to wherever you bought it from like amazon, ebay and others. yes so thats the risk of buying items like that.
