1000gb ssd

Hi guys.

I got the SSD, but what I am still looking for is the power cable. My current SSD is connected with a 5-pin (5 small wires) cable to the PSU.

Where can I find a similar cable. How is it possible that I have a 5-pin power cable in my PC but online it is not available.

Not even my local computer shops can supply it. If plug the SSD power cable out of the PSU, the PSU itself has 5 small holes. Can you plug in a 4-pin power supply cable into these 5 holes? Will it work? If so will it not bugger up a very expensive SSD.

I am at my wits end.

By the way the PSU is a Coolermaster V550.

You really need to learn patience Mr Gous.

I did explain to you that my dad was taken back to ICU and that I had a burst water pipe at my place that needed to be sorted out.
I'll gladly help you out but unfortunately I am stuck between a rock and a hard place at the moment.
 
I understand it completely. And I am sure that we all feel for you.

However, you did sent me an Email that said:

"I'll send them off to you on Wednesday and they should be there the same day." Maybe that got me confused.

But anyway let's not worry further about it

100% correct, unfortunately things change.
I've ordered the extra cables now, and they should be delivered by Monday at the latest, depending on suppliers ect.
