Hey other dudes... sorry for being scarce. My boss hijacked me monday morning to go to PE again & I only got home now. Next time I should take an extra set of clothes with methinks.

I'm going to be scarce AGAIN tomorrow as I have to moer into the transkei to sort out more crap hospitals.

I'm not particularly fond of hospitals so when he says they are crap I'm even less inclined to be there.

Other than having no phone reception, no road rules being obeyed AT ALL & every man for himself-style driving, countless cattle/donkeys/sheep around blind rises, taxis/etc. overtaking from oncoming side over said blind rises, potholes, at-least-one-accident-scene-per-trip, constant hijackings from Umtata to Bizana, Idutywa area-mist-that-reduces-visibility-to-3m-in-front-of-your-bonnet, of course..

I have no official job description.

I work as a consulting electrical engineer (Strictly speaking I'm just a Technikon oke). We do the designs/oversight of all the hospital repairs/projects in the transkei etc. Since not many local contractors have experience with medical equipment/installations we pretty much have to be there through the whole repair/install/fault finding stage.

I wish I was a perlemoen diver.
