Play on Gorgos Tinman - I too will be rolling there. Only issue is if we can all create Asmodian's due to pop caps. We should all heavily consider playing Eylos since those are seldom if ever locked, and shadowfox is already one. But I will go with the majority here.
Also I managed to get my account done, took a LOT of refreshing and retrying on the pages.
The update as you mentioned Lydon is pretty bad, random speeds, dropping all over the place, but it IS still going.
Once I am setup I will post my Characters Name.

Have a look at Gorgos ... it's currently sitting on an Elyos 48% - Asmodian 52% population split.
Favourite classes being:
Sorcerer - 16%
Cleric - 15%
Gladiator - 14%
I'm still keen to roll as an Assassin ... what are you guys picking?

If you recall correctly I even asked you to create a poll for us to see who wants to choose which race.
Anyway - look further down that thread and I gave background on the two factions and why Elyos reminds me of "the chosen race" and are full of themselves. Asmodians = underdogs who were dealt a raw deal and pretty much the outcasts as viewed by the pretty boys. Unless you like to be a pretty boy.

Problem is Asmodians are the most popular choice as so far in that people are battling like crazy to make them. You might end up waiting hours, or days to make one.
The Lore behind the Asmodians makes them the underdogs story wise, but sadly in reality they are not and are the super popular race of choice. I agree the Asmodians Lore and style far suites me best, but fact is they are the new Alliance.
And Voicy if you have made an Account with NCSOFT for Guild Wars, then log in on that and add Aion and a Product Key to the account.
Will be playing a Spiritmaster even though they have issues. They seem to be the Crowd Control king.

as far as i understand all you need todo is stick them into correct folders and rerun the launcher, first two goes to ..\Aion\
luancher's log can be found in ...\Program Files (x86)\NCsoft\Launcher or ...\Program Files\NCsoft\Launcher
will report back and see what exactly of those i used.
Update; not even sure of that way works as i added the first file to the folder and it downloaded anyways, so im letting it go on with its download. not complaining since its going around 400KBps
