So I have been challenging myself to get all weapon master tags. So far I have 30. Excluding all the knife types.
And grenade types.

And pick up weapons.

Dont think the custom maps are ready yet, only the new weapons and fixes.

Apparently they messed up the thermal sights according to some posts on the battlelog forum.

Eager to try the new AN-94, interesting concept it uses in reality. Guys on the Battlelog forums are going insane... so its not as bad as they make it out to be? I tried the the AN-94 and Mare's Leg on the training range. (btw, the targets fall over again now. Think they take realistic normal gametype damage before falling over, nice touch.
But, the Mare's leg....no way I am swapping my G18 for it. :love: cant believe I never used it before.

lol @ ppl going insane at not finding the Mare's Leg, its not a sniper rifle replacement, its a side arm.

Regardless of SP or MP games, I like to have something medium to long range and something for short range.

I've played probably 99% conquest, getting a bit stale, same old vanilla maps, but recently, I think its the geezers and another server, I've been playing some rush. Thats really fun, intent to play more. Also, domination is fun too.

I've always played more conquest than anything else, but I've been enjoying rush of late.

I decided to work my recon and sniper rifles up a bit a while ago (since that was my worst class at the time), and what I discovered is that the best thing to do that on is Hard-Core Rush. More chance of one shot kills, you don't get spotted, and you know where all the action is going to be, although the best thing is too watch the hills and buildings other side of the MCom's for enemy snipers rather than trying to shoot the guys who are running around.

Hard core, yeah, I enjoy the HC server much more. I dislike the minimap, feels unrealistic. (yeah yeah, its a game I know)

Good tactic, in BF3 I played 70% engineer and 30% Support. I am trying to balance it more in BF4. Quite enjoying Assault and Recon.Also, hardly touched vehicles in BF3, but enjoying my ground vehicles in BF4.
