The Official 2015 Steam Summer Sale thread

So I take it this is the official 2015 Steam Summer Sale thread? Maybe Jan could change the title so we can spam this thread with our wishes, purchases and regrets?

Not sure I'll actually buy anything but these seem interesting

Besieged
Civ BE
Black Mesa
Wolfenstein: The New Order
Fallout (No idea which one?)
Elder Scrolls Online

Wolfenstein: The New Order

Yes please! Would love a combo deal on that and The Old Blood. Actually I'm also keen to pick up AC: Unity (hopefully it's stable enough now with all their issues that I've read about) and probably a few others. Excite, maybe!

I'll be sitting out of this one. Except maybe if Assassin's Creed Revelations go on an amazing special.

Spent so much already this year, I'm probably going to (try my best to) avoid getting to excited about it this year. The back log is backed up as it is.

May make an allowance for super-duper, cheap as chips, one time only buys for these which passed me by, if they come up:
* Alan Wake & AW's American Nightmare
* Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Revelations, and/or Rouge

looks like a few of us are holding out for an Assassins creed game or two. hope they come up this time. I've got my eye on assassins creed 3 and black flag. Unless I get an absolute bargain on something else I'll probably stick to those

The Steam Summer Sale will begin on June 11 and last until June 20. At least according to IGN who report on a leaked post spotted on Valve's official VKontakte feed.

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more.......

*wipes tear from my eye*

Ave! :D if you go for it let me know if everything goes smoothly. I've been keeping an eye on gamesrocket, but haven't actually bought anything from them yet.
Resistance was futile at that price :)
Was first time buying from GamesRocket for me, and it all went swimmingly. Didn't have to fill in a thousand form fields to register an account - just linked up to my Steam profile. Had to give them an email address for invoices and keys.
Payment made through PayPal. Took a couple of minutes to get notification message from PayPal that money had been paid, but as soon as that happened got confirmation of order processed email and separate email with Steam key from GR.
Key registered on Steam perfectly and I left the game to download overnight. Haven't been on yet to check if it runs okay, but see no reason why it shouldn't.
All in all, not a bad shopping experience at all.

Thanks for the detailed update, and pleased to hear it went smoothly. So it looks like we can confidently add another store to our watchlists.
Enjoy - it's a fantastic game. I finished it about 2 months ago and enjoyed every minute of it- It just bleeds atmosphere. I played it on easy though because I'm a wuss that way.

Did not budget for this sale unfortunately, but I still want to try and get both Divinity and Wasteland 2.

I have about 60 items in my wishlist, but I'm not buying anything unless it's at least 75% off, or under $5.

I must say GMG and humble have spoiled me to the point where 75% no longer seems like such a good discount any more. I will still pay for some of the must have games, but most of the stuff can be purchased for less if you're willing to hang on.

Indeed it was. I also completed all the DLC's (except American Nightmare, which lost its charm 75% in) and I rate it as some of my best game-time in recent years.
