The Official 2015 Steam Summer Sale thread

Thanks for the heads up. Just enough time to bolster my steam wallet :)

/inserts date in diary

Steam only sells PC games, as far as I recall. :wtf:

What I meant to say was is this summer sale a thing all digital entertainment companies partake in, more specifically videogame companies with an online marketplace.

So PSN, Xbox Live, eShop etc etc.

Don't be mean now because I beat you in speedrunners :p

Kind of like black friday? No this is just a steam thing, but the other stores usually have their own sales to celebrate summer, so who knows.

I've got about $20 left in my Steam wallet which will be used for some specials that cannot be missed, but I'm not really looking at buy too much games. Not until Joker has fixed my PC.

Been selling all of my CSGO and Dota 2 items just for this! =D Let the game begin! Well not yet... only in a few days... THEN the games will begin!

So I was checking out the minimum specs for assassins creed liberation and it looks pretty hectic for what you're getting- higher specs than Black flag?

Would the "HD" bit in that title be a reason?
At $5 it may be worth the trouble regardless.
As for the rest of the franchise being on sale all of a sudden... It's a trap!! :)
Someone tipped Steam off that many of are hoping for a bargain in the Summer Sale and they've gone and pulled a fast one on us. Question we need to ask now is do we call their bluff and hold on for the Sale in the hopes prices drop even more? Or is this as good as it's going to get?
$15 on Black Flag seems sort of reasonable, but only if it isn't going to drop more in 2 weeks time. Rogue and Unity at $30-odd is not an option.

I wonder if there's going to be an Assassin's Creed bundle sometime soon. Maybe at Humble Bundle. It just kind of feels like it's going to happen.

dammit! i really need to avoid any sales. my current backlog is already beyond the scope of ever being completed in my lifetime :(

You need to increase your willpower; buy a ring or something. :D

its the ring i bought (for my wife) that is the reason why i don't have time for games :-D wife and 2 kids = severely limited freetime for gaming :P

naah, just needs socketed gear and few gems

problem comes full circle. i can't afford to socket gems into the wife's ring, as i spent all my money on games that i don't have time to play due to being married and not having a gemmed up ring which i can't afford to ....oh god it's an infinite loop :(

I don't know, if I look at the videos, the textures aren't that great- AC2 quality and the map is much smaller. This is a Vita port.

I'm wondering the same thing, although Ubisoft isn't known for their generosity, so who knows.

Damn I've been feeling the same thing- One of the reasons I'm waiting till Thursday to buy AC 3
