144hz Screens

Flex

Will lift for boobs!
Woohooo can't wait. Getting my very first 144hz screen today.
Been playing on 60-75hz screens.
I mainly play CSGO and try to play it quite competitively, so can't wait to see what difference it makes.

Decided against the LG at Woot Wear and rather got the benq xl2411z at Rebel Tech instead!!!!!! It is going to be a good weekend!

Is there no1 else on here with a 144hz screen? Seems like most people here are all about the size... and not how you use it! =D

I am on a 24" 144hz, played more than 15years on 60hz

Dude, it's a huge difference! Not only in games but in windows as well. Extremely Smooth! You WILL be impressed and would wanna play games more often now

I'm scared to get a 120+ monitor...means I'll also have to up my game and get into the High high end of graphics cards, to get the 120+fps needed :p

Mind you, I don't think you'll notice much (if any) difference going from 120Hz to 144Hz.

Obviously coming from a 60Hz yes for both, but not from 120.

Gone from 60 - 120Hz. It’s awesome not to worry about screen tearing that much anymore. That was one of the biggest differences that I experienced.

That would be an interesting setup to see +specs :) - Thread

Oh, I know the thread. I had one of the displays off to the side for my PSTV, only hooked it back up to my PC today. I think I'll wait for the maid to clean up a bit more (I did a huge chunk of desk cleaning today) before taking any pictures... And maybe wipe down my keyboard.

Great, have the thread subbed already :)

Played my first CSGO DGL match last night on my 144hz and absolutely loved it.
Did get strange lag/very low fps when flashed or in smoke. So will have to check all my settings and make sure everything is correct

A great buy Flex. I reckon you're going to be very happy with it.
I have the slightly bigger (there's that size thing again :) ) version of the one you got - the BenQ XL2720 - and am still amazed at how good it is. In fact, it took me 2 days of using it before I even realized that I had been running it on default 60Hz settings.

Hahah i did the exact same thing with my first few games!

Quickest way to test for future reference is to turn vertical sync on, ensure that is syncs at 144fps, and turn it back off again(at least in cs, to reduce input lag)

I think i found out why my game does that funny lag when i am in smoke in CSGO. My GPU gets overworked I think. So i think it is time for a new GPU. My pc runs it at 150FPS for most of the game, but get fps spikes every now and again :(
