By that I mean we like to have options. Not to kill babies. Not that I have a problem with killing babies.... ahem... okay I'm out of here. :wtf:

Depends on the game really. FPS I'll take a kb/mouse anyday. I can't cope with a controller. Most other games, I'm happy with my 360 controller.

Actually, the real master race are those lucky/crazy few who can afford every platform and have the choice of whatever they please. *cries in corner*

I'm pro mustard and I have to say the following:

I would not replace my keyboard and mouse with the steam controller, but keen to test it on 3rd person/sports games. :p

i'm an all round multi platform gamer, and i love my controllers :-) only use the mkb to play RTS

wonder what the local price will be. given the current trajectory of the ZAR, i have to assume it will cost around a R1,500 :-(

Saw it listed as a Steam Pre-Order last night at $49.99. Looks like they've taken that bit down now as it now shows "Coming Soon" again. Weird.
 
Mouse and keyboard will always be my favorite, but controllers are better when it comes to, like fighting games.

I wouldn't mind having one of those, looks nice, but I would like to test it out first before I buy it, will have to wait for some reviews before I can decide.

hmm...so no too far off the current controller pricing. still, would be happier if it cost closer to R600, which i reckon is more fair. a grand for a controller just seems a tad steep.

I'll consider getting one if my 360 controller stops working and if it's available locally. I'm not going out of my way to get one right now.

Totally understandable.
Selling my Xbox One Wireless Controller though. It's actually cheaper to get the Steam Controller from Amazon, which comes with a wireless dongle, then buy a Xbox One Controller + Wireless dongle locally.
 
Im more interested in the Steam link, might get both together. Then i can sit on my couch and pc game with whatever device i want without any cable worries.
