Grim words! But today the Rand has plunged 21c to 12.58 to the dollar.

As mentioned above, we are not helped by the all the negativity surrounding the country at the mo. Lead principally by the circus master, Zuma, and his henchmen, but added to by the Fifa bribe allegations, Eskom and the continued negative outlook by the ratings agencies.

The sale cannot start soon enough me thinks...

lol same here. Now that I've got a PC that can actually run some games, but ain't got the cash for the games.

rand has at least pulled back slightly. 12.43

how i wish i had loaded tons of dollars into my steam wallet back in the good old days of 7.5 to the USD :( twas only 5 years back!

you would have needed to load like million rands worth for it to last till now
 
i really can't think of any games that i need or want right now, so perhaps this sale will be ok and i won't buy anything ?

in other news, perhaps pigs will fly and hell will freeze over :(

exactly! i see a game and think logically, "i'm never gonna have time to play this, the smart thing would be to just ignore it.....but....its discounted.....what if i don't get it this cheap again....maybe i can find time for it......ok, going to buy this one game then nothing else...."
