144hz Screens

I think i found out why my game does that funny lag when i am in smoke in CSGO. My GPU gets overworked I think. So i think it is time for a new GPU. My pc runs it at 150FPS for most of the game, but get fps spikes every now and again

I did some tweaking yesterday, overclocked my GPU a bit, and played around with resolution and other settings. Loving CSGO on 144hz!!!!

Jeez you guys are making me want to buy a 144hz screen (or 2 actually). Currently sitting with 2 24" Samsungs; so I'll have to sell them if I want to get the 144's. Any takers?

What worries me is, this is how I felt once I bought SSD drives... So for the sake of my wallet, I will stay away from 144hz screens for a while lol!

Then you're not going to reap the full benefits of a high frequency screen... If your card cant keep up, rather invest in a better gpu first

You SHOULD! No gamer should still use mechanical hardrives, ever. Only for storage of large multimedia, of course.

U life will never be the same again...

I have a 128gb for windows and a 250gb for games. Any game that use to have a long load time before loads remarkable faster. It brings a smile to my face every time.

But seriously, a SSD is one of the best investments you can make. I have a 256GB one with my OS on it, and I only put the current game or 2 I'm playing on it so I can have quick load times. Ideally I would like a 512GB SSD, but they are a bit expensive still.

If you ever have the spare cash (R1500 - R2000), invest in a SSD, you won't regret it.

Loading performance, once the game is in memory u wont notice the difference. But trust me/us, when u see how quickly u suddenly do that quarter mile, u wont ever go back!
