I think i might take this weekend to uninstall everything, back up mah saves and then format before starting up with Windows 7....

Well ive got a core 2 duo 2.33ghz with 4gb of ram. never tried running vista ultimate so i wouldn't know.
 
Like if you look at the Vista Editions you'll notice the only real performance difference would be between Starter/Basic and the rest because the Starter/Basic editions don't really support Aero, which relies on 3D capability.

*shrug* I really wouldn't worry :D

I have a gpu for 3d Capabilities. Isn't it that the 64bit handles multiple possesses better and such?

My understanding of the more intricate differences between x86 and x64 are limited at best. From my understanding x64 processes use more memory than they ordinarily would on x86, however, x64 has been proven to be marginally faster for what reasons, I'm uncertain as well as seemingly making better use of multiple cores.

However, the more obvious advantages aside from that is that x86 is dying, x64 supports more RAM, greater stability and more complex security features. It's just the way things are heading, it's progress :)

So sticking to 32bit just... doesn't makes sense to me unless you have to for whatever reason :p

specs amd phenom 9950 quad-core 2.61ghz Black edition
4gs kingston ram
Ati radoen HD 4800 series

All my games icluding crysis runs perfectly on all the highest settings
