Meh doesnt help me much. But the irritation is the fact that giggles who works with me, comes tells me het autocad keeps crashing. So I ask how long has it been happening, oh its always done it since we got her the new pc. . . . She just decided its an issue now. So trying to fix it she is hovering and not giving me time to try and fix it. Im just gonna attempt loading the service packs for Autocad 2009LT and hope to god it fixes the issue since I can't seem to find an answer on google that really fixes the issue
 
I just suspect after this weekend with my sisters kids, my tolerance levels for idiots and fools and stupidity and laziness is at an all time low

same old same old I suppose ...... dealing with a Takealot return, that's been something different. Sorting someones feels out, that's also fun :D


oh and everyone here has gone away until Thursday so I guess I'm enjoying the peace a bit, heh

Oh and I had some woman earlier who wrong numbered me, asked me to look up the number she wanted and then got pissed off and shouted at me about how she's going to tell her husband on me when I laughed and said no ..... one of those days :D

Yup, they have received the application, peer review is complete, managerial review is complete. The department head is on leave till Wednesday and usually takes 3-4 days to review. Once that is done the director will review and advise to proceed with interviews/etc..

Give it a week or so, they usually respond (if positive) within about 3 weeks. Else not so much. You can also do a follow up email :-) they tend to actually give feedback if prodded gently with a "Hey, have you received it, do you have any questions?" type of response.

Just curious, is there any action your employer can or may take if they find out you're job hunting or putting your CV out there (apart from making life difficult/shit)?

Your employer can't take any action against you for looking for other work. There is enough laws to cover you from any action.
 
Been ages since I had a boss but nothing legal afaik. Being a knobend and causing shit for you however, totally in the realm of possibility :(

[MENTION=4071]BeoTeK[/MENTION] as Mr MC Hammer noted, they can try and make your life shit, but that could be regarded as constructive dismissal. They could fire you (which could be unfair dismissal), they could do nothing (which is called being stupid)

the only time they can take action against you if you actually send out your cv during office hours using company resources...
