To get them used to the game against the AI its easier. Plus its better to play a full team in Versus, 4 out of 5 means epic failure.
Playing against AI will make you hate the game it makes it so repetetive and boring rather go yolo and get rekt agaisnt other people tis way more fun and you get way more exp and gold
Naw I find it easier to get used to the game in AI mode and then going up in difficulty - remember not all of us are devoted moba players.
When i first played Dota and Dota 2 and HON i went straight into the deep end AI is really not challening its soooo boring ! let them decide though they can try a quick match with me and see which they prefer![]()
I played a couple random quick matches. had some cool ppl in the games. saw their tags, but how do i now add them to friends on battle net ? the battle tag has a # number, but in game you don't see that in HoTS
edit : holy fek, i only just found out that HoTs does not have voice chat. this is AWESOME news!! i had not really been keen to get into it as i',m not a huge fan of playing online MP where you have 12 years olds constantly screaming down the headset, going into detail about all the sordid things they had done with your mother, or planned to do with your anus. The lack of voice makes HoTs a much more appealing prospect now!
edit 2 : do you guys also sometimes get very bad lag, and then see a flashing "ethernet port" icon in top left ?

Well, seeing that the servers are located overseas, you'll have the flashing ethernet port icon every single time (until we get local peering). I've grown accustomed to it, anyone should as well (with time of course). You can press Ctrl+Alt+F to open up the latency, fps, gpu temp and server location info. It blocks the icon halfway, so it isn't that distracting
PS: I never feel the lag, if you've nearly played 1400 games like I have, it feels silky smooth![]()

I played a lot of Valla and Raynor. Tell me, how does the game work out the Easy/Medium/Hard rankings on Heroes ?
Guys you really shouldn't be getting that network icon in the top left corner. I have a pretty standard 4mb adsl line and mostly get about 180-190ms. What I've found is that the ISP makes a huge difference. Afrihost is useless and gives me way over 200ms whereas crystal Web and webafrica are about 180-190. Makes a big difference if you are sub 200.
Im going to add you guys, enjoying the game a lot.
I think my battlenet id is: shibobo#2785.
Edit: basically 200ms+ will show the flashing network icon, below 200ms and it should disappear.
You do get spikes from time to time, but in general it's consistent.
im getting it with Web Africa. But need to try the CTR+ALT+F trick to see what my pings are sitting on
