The Official 2015 Steam Summer Sale thread

Are you fucking kidding me?

I managed to get $10 from selling all my cards and ffxiii-2 changes from 50 to 30% WTF!? Missed it by like a minute, guess im saving for afterbirth then

Age of wonders - Thoughts? edit...nvm...thats still kark expensive with the DLCs...

Also...grab Talos Principle...really enjoyed the first shot at playing it. First part seemed a bit easy (well it is part 1) but the vibe is cool.

I bought Hero Siege yesterday for less than $1. Played a bit last night and I'm really enjoying it so far. Will see if it can keep me entertained but so far it looks like it :)

I also picked it up, and already lost an hour or so to it, in spite of not really having an hour to lose. Hellishy difficult so far, but I like it.

Yeah it isn't easy, but I really like it. Wish I could keep my relics upon death :D
I've tried 4 classes so far: pyromancer, necromancer, viking and pirate. So far the pyro and necro are the best/easiest - especially the necro. Melee is really difficult because you die so easily.
Only thing with the necro is that your summoned mobs go the nearest enemy at all times, so you are sometimes left in a bind where none of them are helping you.

I liked the necro and pyro too. I tend to try and use the environment a lot as necro, the 5 blocks of spikes in a plus form is usually quite useful. I wonder if there's a hero siege thread somewhere..

I haven't seen one so I don't think there is.

I should perhaps use the environment more to my advantage. Also, the game has multiplayer, which could work out really great. Not sure if you can ress or if it is perma death. We should try it perhaps :)

It looks like it's local machine MP only, if you select 2 players it asks you to choose between 2 controllers and controller + keyboard. I've yet to try it out, so I could be wrong.

I'll make a Hero Siege thread, we are kinda hijacking this one :D

It has a local coop option once you enter the Single Player menu, however on the main menu there is a Online Multiplayer button. The Steam page for the game also states multiplayer as well as cross platform multiplayer. I suppose that means the game is available on console also :)

Will have to do some more research after work. I'll add you on Steam as well

I dunno, I've been very unimpressed by this sale. There really hasn't been anything I must have or anything that has enticed me to a point of braking out the CC.

I had a different problem again. I saw so many games that I wanted and some at really good prices but had to restrain myself from anything.

The most difficult one was not buying Banished. I really want that but will wait until the Christmas sales.

The sale has in fact claimed some money of mine, but my total spent is under $16, which is great. Added Microsoft Flight Sim to my backlog as well. Always wanted to own the game

Beo, at some point you have so many games that the ones on special just seems meh to you "whistling: :p

only thing i want is Breach & Clear DEADLine, so really hoping that goes on sale for 75% off. sale has been "meh".

I spent in the region of R500 so far, but that's just because the games I bought were still $10 or more even on special:
- Homeworld Remastered $13
- Wolfenstein: The New Order $10
- Deponia $1.50
- RAGE $5
- Ori and the Blind Forest $13

I agree. It could be that I already have an extensive collection of games, but I've also noticed that there aren't a lot of AAA games coming up. Just 2 or 3 a day.

I mean yeah, I own a lot but also looking forward to a lot. Though there have been some titles that have made me want to buy it, but not at the current rates, I would need more -75% titles. The titles that I have wanted haven't been that greatly discounted.

I've bought the following:
Metro Redux bundle (was -80%)
Valkyria Chronicles (was -75%)
Huniepop (for teh lolz)

Steam Sale: Where you buy games just because they're really cheap, but never actually get around to playing them.

aint that the truth.

I'e also got a huge wishlist. The problem is it seems to always be the same titles every year, and a ton of obscure titles.
I've only bought how to survive for $1 (90%) and a Tom clancy game for $4.99 (75%)
