General gaming chit chat.

Epic battle fantasy got it 3 days ago so far 21 hours into it really amaze me that I would play it for so many hours and still have half the map to unlock also I can just play it one handed with mouse only. So went to dig around the interwebs and seems it was a flash/online game and now number 4 is on steam.

Batman reviews are out and they are really good also Digital Foundry did a article on the ps4 version and it is locked 30 1080p.Rocksteady did a great job,I was worried because the game looks amazing.

Which Deus Ex did you get? The original one or the latest one? Both are brilliant IMO, but the original is a masterpiece of a game and still to this day my favourite of all time

Human Revolution. Has been in my library for years now, never got around to it.

DX:HR is a fantastic game. I'm just not too fond of the boss fights, but the rest of the game is such a good return to form for Deus Ex. Played and finished the game on both Xbox 360 as well as PC.

I can't remember how I came to acquiring the game. Saw gameplay of Mankind Divided, and it inspired me to want to play DX: HR. Looks to me like a shooter with a deep narrative. Also, finished Last Light, having only started playing it last Friday.

DX:HR is incredible, if you enjoyed it I would suggest also looking into the original DX GOTY (the graphics kinda show its age)

You'll enjoy DX:HR. It does have a deep narrative driving the game forward, and the game has a lot of RPG elements that has been the staple of the franchise for years. it's rather open for interpretation as to how you can complete each mission, as there are multiple ways to getting to your goals. It enables you to play the game the way you want to play it. I would suggest however to stock-up on some mines/ammo and guns for the first 2 boss battles. Sucks that you have to do that, but I believe there is a patch/mod that changes the boss battles slightly.

Also, I cannot wait for Mankind Divided. I'm such a huge fan of this series!!

I have no prior knowledge of the DE universe, so that's how I'm going in.
Don't want to watch playthroughs as I normally do.

I must be one of the few people that couldn't really get into DX:HR. I really tried though, but 2 hours in I just didn't enjoy it anymore.

I also couldn't get into it but I persevered and it became a really good game. The ending(s) is amazing. I eventually scored it quite highly. It's a slow starter but really builds into a good game.
