Are there any alerts in Event Viewer? (right click "My Computer" and select "Manage", then select Event Viewer and open up Windows Logs). Check Application and System for any Red flags around the time that this error keeps happening, and post it here or try google anything that looks related. Info and Warnings in there are fine :)

- Install PlayOnLinux (This allows you to run the following games : https://www.playonlinux.com/en/supported_apps-1-0.html
- Install Wine (Allows you to run https://appdb.winehq.org/)
- Install Steam :-) (now you can play these titles natively https://store.steampowered.com/search/?term=&sort_by=_ASC&os=linux&page=1)
- Now pop in the installation disk of your MS Office, install that if you so please :-) thanks to PlayOnLinux/Wine
- Enjoy, you can thank me later.

The only errors i found where in System and they are Kernel power error 41:The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

Event ID:6008:The previous system shutdown at 7:04:18 PM on ‎6/‎22/‎2015 was unexpected.

If you didn't have a decent PSU i'd have immediately said my gut feeling says you aren't getting enough juice, but unless that PSU is 5+ years old it should be able to run what you throwing at it.

How does the error occur? what happens? does the machine actually shut down and reboot? What occurs for you to see the Kernel power error 41?

Well the error has only occurred when playing games and happens at random times no constant pattern and what happens is that the screen goes black and does not respond and sound stops and i am unable to do anything but the computer stays on

You overclock your card at all? I'm still leaning towards something in the machine not getting enough juice, and it happening while gaming (under load) kinda confirms this. Its a tricky one to "prove" however, without actualy buying a new PSU and it stops happening.

i'm quite certain that i am not overclocking my card

OK, in all seriosness. This is either an issue caused by overclocking the CPU, a memory issue (damaged modules or mismatched speeds, etc), failing/aging PSU or overheating of the system.
