Hey everyone, Today was spent catching up on work that needed to be done these last 3 days,I'm back from Cape Town and didn't see much of it.
Day of leaving the plane was delayed by 2 hours. So eventually got to Cape Town and it was dark. Tried to find the hotel and that turned out tricky, drove past it like 5 times. Checked in after 9PM. Century City, Stay Easy.
Day 2, wake up and its dark, air was nice and fresh though. Drive to the office were we worked from 8 - 5. Drive back to the hotel, 2km journey takes 30 minutes, WTF??? Although I'll say everyone was very civilised, no cutting in and chopping and changing lanes.
Day 3, dark again, seriously guys, when does the sun come up? work 8 - 5. Ask directions to the airport, leave the place at 5.30, stuck in same traffic like back to hotel, get to the M5, more traffic - seriously guys, I though Joburg was bad, also the lights went out, N2 was better, get to the airport just in time for boarding.
Next time it will be better, I hope.
