Bloodborne: the official thread

yeah think I should find a partner...

Here is a few tips when fighting Rom kill all the baby spiders the fastest way to kill them is from behind also coat your blade in fire when all baby spiders are dead and attack the big boy from the side.Dont try and rush it baby's must die Also when the big boy starts acting up allways face him so you can side step those blue projectiles.

No Rom I've taken care of already. Unseen Village is kicking my ass. WAY over crowded. and those bell ringing bitches don't make it any easier. not to mention the giant laser spider monster!

Ok you need to find out where they all are so you can rush them and take them out.It is easier to doge the lazer spider once all the bell ringers are dead.

In the lazer spider area there is a place where you can drop down onto a ledge the bastard is hiding there beware there is a big brick wielder with him also once you deal with them you can drop down into a cage with a secret key there.

then it seems I've been running past the bitch the whole time

One of my more disappointing bosses in the game, defeated her on first attempt. But NG+ I can imagine she could hit kinda hard.
Yeah man, normal game she is such a pushover, but NG+ is a whole different beast. Maybe it's because I'm rusty, but even with summoned help I am struggling. Took us about 10 minutes or so to get her to 25% health but then she wrecked both me and my cooperator within seconds of each other. This was on the 5th attempt since yesterday.

What approach are you taking? I normally just stayed very close and under her, these means she can't (or doesn't) do her laser therapy treatment.

I mostly try to do the same, but once she rips her arms off and start using them as weapons I can't do that anymore as she starts moving around a lot and spams those attacks that cover so much ground that I am finding it very hard to dodge. It also doesn't help that she has INSANE health and packs quite the punch to boot. I can do about 1200 damage with one shot using bone marrow ash, but it barely takes a millimeter off the health bar.

Gonna try once or twice more before moving on to either Upper Cathedral or Nightmare of Mensis. I only have PS+ for 48 hours so I'm trying to take down as many NG+ bosses as I can before doing dungeons once the plus runs out again .

Finally managef to beat NG+ Amygdala on Sunday. Made some progress in Nightmare of Mensis but Micolash promptly handed me my ass, several times. Managed to get to level 155 as well doing Chalice Dungeons; currently doing the depth 4 ones. Can't believe I didn't do dungeons when playing the game at first, so awesome and the sense of exploration is great.
